Sustainable University Day 2016

April 21, 2016 | University of Lausanne
In the context of the universities’ contributions to sustainable development, this year's Sustainable University Day discussed how scientific work on the finiteness of earth' life-sustaining capacity can more effectively be linked to individual and collective decision-making.

The event featured a keynote by Jørgen Randers, co-author of the The Limits to Growth; a panel discussion shedding light on civil society expectations of universities; and a guiding tour to get to know student sustainability projects at the University of Lausanne.

This event was hosted and co-organised by the University of Lausanne.
