Synergies Event

Sustainability-oriented methods of knowledge co-production in research and teaching

Thursday, February 2, 2017 | University of Bern, Schanzeneckstrasse 1, 3012 Bern (UniS Building)

With this event we aim to explore and discuss ways and strategies to foster transformations towards sustainable development (SD) through university teaching, learning and research activities. The discussion will be based on participants’ experiences as well as on inputs from within the sustainable development at universities programme.

The following questions will be addressed: How can we co-produce knowledge for SD transformations in heterogeneous actor groups? How can we facilitate the integration of SD into university teaching, including faculties and disciplines not yet familiar with SD? And how do you interpret, frame, understand or construct sustainability within your research and teaching?
